Hays Service, a fourth generation family-owned business, has operated on the principles of customer loyalty, safety, and productivity since 1945. We are proud of our unique history, beginning in the heating and plumbing industry and transitioning first to air conditioning and then to mechanical service and maintenance.

Throughout nearly 75 years of business, Hays Service has transformed into a niched service provider, specializing in planned maintenance, environmentally sensitive solutions, and owning and operating cost reduction.

Hays Service Through The Years

Charles G. Hays, a steamfitter in Macon, opened Hays Heating and Plumbing Company.

date-icon-1945Charles’ son, Jimmy Hays, joined the family business after graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. As president of Hays Service, Jimmy expanded into air conditioning.

date-icon-1945Cal Hays, son of Jimmy Hays, graduated from Georgia Tech and eventually  led the way for Hays Service to become a Linc Service provider with access to innovative tools and research, continuing training for technicians, and  the support and resources of an international network of HVAC experts.

date-icon-1945Cal’s son, Calvin Hays, joined Hays Service as General Manager. Under the Hays’ leadership, Hays Service is expanding and constantly seeking new ways to serve their customers’ preventative maintenance needs.
