Hays Service is proud of its history in the HVAC business, and is now into its third generation as a family business.

With its beginnings in the heating and plumbing business, Hays Service has transformed itself several times, moving first to air conditioning and eventually to mechanical service and maintenance.

Our company's history began in 1945 when Charles G. Hays, a steamfitter opened Hays Heating and Plumbing Company in Macon, Georgia. He led a successful operation for many years. In 1950 his son, Jimmy Hays joined the family business after graduating from Georgia Tech (ME). He ultimately became president and expanded into air conditioning.

In 1977, the third generation of Hays, Cal, graduated from Georgia Tech and eventually started the Linc Service® division and became part of their nationwide network of service providers.

Proving that HVAC is in the Hays' blood; Cal's brother, Chris, is now the general manager for a large HVAC service provider in Seattle, Washington.
